Having worked in clinic, primary and secondary school settings across Melbourne, Tania is an experienced paediatric practitioner, providing intervention across a range of areas, including self-care, kinder/school skills, fine and gross motor skills and sensory processing difficulties.
Prior to paediatrics, Tania worked in the public mental health system in both inpatient and community settings. During this time, Tania gained extensive experience in mental health assessment and intervention for children and adults.
Tania is particularly passionate about providing goal directed and client/ family centred therapy to enable children to maximise their independence and reach their full potential. She supports providing therapy in the environment that is best tailored to the individual, such as school or community settings.
Tania is a strong advocate for professional development and has completed further training in multiple areas including the Cognitive Orientation to Daily Occupational Performance (CO-OP) approach.
Outside of work, Tania loves spending time with her family, including two young (and very active!) boys, as well as finding just enough time for her own fitness and wellbeing activities.
